OUR SEPTEMBER MISSION REPORT!

All glory to our God for the just concluded month – September. He has continued to shield us from all harm, and what’s more His grace has always been upon us as we traverse from one mission location to another here in the Philippines!

We bring you a praise report! Remember last time, we told you about our plan to renew our Immigration visas, yes! God as usual provided the needed fund for it, and our visas renewals have been concluded - praise God! At a time we’re wondering and thinking how and where the fund will come from, our Lord went ahead of us to make provisions for us.

(Ngozi ministering to the Badjao tribal people in the Boulevard, Dumaguete City, Philippines)

There has been a great influx of the Badjao tribal people here in Dumaguete City for the past months. This can be attributed to the continued unrest in Zamboanga City, as they’re always caught up in cross-fire between the Government and the rebel forces. This has caused a lot of challenge for us, as we make effort to squeeze ourselves in order to reach out to scores of them.

Again, we’re still pushing forward on our desire to retire back to Nigeria to continue with the inland mission there in the nearest future. Please put us in your daily prayer as keep believing God to avail early cheap tickets that is still on now till December.

(These Badjao people need your unalloyed support!)

Prayer Points:
1. Pray for the Badjao tribal people as they throng the Boulevard area here in Dumaguete City, on a daily bases, and pray that God will open financial doors for us so we can effectively minister to them!
2. Pray for funds to come so we can avail the early promo prices.
3. Pray to God for safety and protection as we traverse our neighborhood for mission work. There’re many arrows, but the Lord’s seeing us through all of them.
4. Pray as we trust God for more monthly donors for our numerous mission projects.

Thanks so much for praying along with us! If while you’re praying and the good Lord lays it in your heart to donate to our mission work, please use any of our Nigeria local Naira accounts. They're as follows:  GT Bank Plc, Acct. name: Success Kanayo Uchime, Acct. Number (Naira) 0115100140

OUR AUGUST MISSION REPORT!

We praise God again for the past month, August, the Lord really showed Himself powerful in our lives here in the Philippines. He keeps intervening in all that we do here for Him. We’re also very grateful for your partnership with us so far, and may the good Lord keep and bless you in Jesus name!

We’re still focused on our ministry to the Badjao tribal people, we’ve continued to fellowship with them every week at the Boulevard area here in Dumaguete City. We need more funds to be very effective in reaching out to them.

(Ngozi ministering to the Badjao tribal people)

Just to let you know again that we’re still pushing forward our desire to retire back to Nigeria to continue with the inland mission there in the nearest future. The Lord keeps confirming and laying it our heart! As we said earlier, we intend to travel to Nigeria by first quarter next year for our usual vacation. While in Nigeria, we’ll put plans on the ground for our eventual return.

(Kanayo & Ngozi during one of our outreaches to the Badjao tribal people!)

Our next immediate challenge is the renewal of our yearly visas with the Philippines Immigration, it usually costs us a lot. We need God’s intervention, as this September is our due date to file our papers.

Prayer Points:
1. Pray and thank God for our weekly Badjao fellowship at the Boulevard area here in Dumaguete City, that God will open financial doors for us!
2. We trust the Lord for a little above $1, 000 for our visas renewal; please help us pray for God’s provision.
3. Also help us pray for financial open doors, as we plan to purchase our early travelling tickets for our vacation first quarter next year.

KANAYO & NGOZI MISSION REPORT!

OUR JULY MISSION REPORT!

Praise God for July and all He enabled us to accomplish. Glory and praise be to His holy name! We’re gradually coping with the sad departure of daughter Nkeoma, though it has not been so easy, but wethank God for all thinks.

You remember in our last mail, we told you of our intention to mark our 5th year of successful and enduring mission workhere in the Philippines. Yes we did celebrate! The date was July 5, and it was a time of family-bonding and stock-taking. We reflected on our desire to retire back to Nigeria to continue with the inland mission there, and since then we’ve been seeking the face of the Lord.

(Reflecting back: In 2008, Kanayo & Ngoziwith Pastor Dave, a SEAMIST Director, during our mission training)

We’re glad to inform you thatwe’ve come to the conclusion to return back to Nigeria as soon as possible. We’re getting convinced that theLord still have a lot of work for us to do in Nigeria, and we’re ready to take the challenge. We’re only deeply concerned now about the timing- we want to move basedon God’s timing. That’s the reason why we’ve resolved to visit Nigeria early next year, as we intend to consult with some of our mentors for proper guidance. This becomes necessary as a lot of things need tobe put in

place in Nigeria before our eventual final exit sometime in the nearest future.

Further to that we’lluse our visit to Nigeria to mark the 1st anniversary of our late daughter, Nkeoma, and also fix a mission awareness thanksgiving. Then on coming back to the Philippines, we’ll set a date for the final exit.

PrayerPoints:(

1. Please help us pray for God’s wisdom and guidanceas we embark on this our plan. Our proposed visit to Nigeria will cost a lot of money, pray for God’sprovision.

2. Pray for our weekly Badjao fellowship at the Boulevard area here in Dumaguete City, that God will sustain the work He alone started through us.

3. Pray as we trust God for more monthly donors for our numerous mission projects.

4. Pray also for our annual visa renewals with the immigration this month, it usually costs us alot.

(Still reflecting: the entire family in SEAMIST office onour arrival in 2008)

Thanks so much for praying along with us, and as you pray, if the good Lord lays it in your heart to donate to our mission work, please use any ofour Nigeria local Naira accounts. They're as follows:  GT Bank Plc, Acct. name: Succesess KanayoUchime, Acct. Number (Naira)0115100140

KANAYO & NGOZI MISSION REPORT!

Posted by kmointer on July 2, 2013 at 3:35 AM Comments comments (0)

OUR JUNE MISSION REPORT!

We praise the Lord for all He’s doing in and through us here in the Philippines. We thank Him for June, as we look forward to a fulfilling month ahead of us. Thanks also to you for standing by us!

God is constantly opening so many opportunities for us to minister to the Filipino people in general, and particularly our Badjao tribal people. So many of them are now responding effectively. Please help us pray for the Badjao, that they’ll be more rooted in the things of God. Meanwhile, our weekly fellowship with them continues to hold, and the immediate challenge before us has continued to be lack of monthly or periodic support. Please help us pray for more mission donors!

(Kanayo & Ngozi ministering to the Badjao in Dumaguete City)

We’re glad to report to you that all our kids have been able to enroll in their various schools for the 2013/14 school year. We’re thinking how it’ll come to be, but God helped us, and early too – so please help us praise God for that!

Praise God for us again, by July 5, we’ll be marking our 5th year of successful and enduring mission work here in the Philippines – how time flies! Though we’re marking this without our first daughter, Nkeoma, who went to be with the Lord last April 25, but still we’ve every reason to give thanks to God. As a result of that, we’ll be having a thanksgiving service on July 7, so please join us anywhere you’re.

From that point, we’ll be thinking of the next line of action to take. Are we going to be finally retiring back to Nigeria to continue with the inland mission work there or to stay on longer here? These are all we’ll be focusing on after July 5; therefore we need divine wisdom on the direction to follow. Please help us pray for the right decision to take!

Please our Nigeria local Naira accounts are still on for anyone who strongly feels to donate to God’s work in our hands. They are:  GT Bank Plc, Acct. name: Succesess Kanayo Uchime, Acct. Number (Naira) 0115100140.

KANAYO & NGOZI MISSION REPORT!

                               OUR MAY MISSION REPORT!

Thanks once again for being there for us, and how has been with you, hope all is well? We bless the good Lord for all His faithfulness. He remains faithful, even when we’re not!

May was our month of adjustment. We had to quickly adjust and learn how to leave without our first daughter, Nkeoma, who passed on to glory on April. We thank God for the grace to cope leaving without her. It has been very agonizing, but we know the Lord has not forsaken us, and He’s not about to.

(Kanayo with some Badjao and a mission assistant Pastor Nick)

God used a whole lot of people to comfort us during our trying times through various messages of goodwill and love offerings, and we want to appreciate Him alone for always being there for us, for our God never fails His people!

We’ve since resumed our ministration to our Badjao tribal people; hence God’s work must go on unhindered. On Thursday May 23, we’re out there in the Boulevard here in Dumaguete City, Philippines to reach out to them. The ministration was very rewarding, as we had a lot of them to reach out to in various ways.

Please continue to lift us to God in prayer, and as you pray, the Lord lays it in your heart to support us, we still have our local Naira accounts in Nigeria. They're as follows:  GT Bank Plc, Acct. name: Succesess KanayoUchime, Acct. Number (Naira) 0115100140

Our Missions Outreach to the Badjao tribal people!

Our Missions Outreach to the Badjao tribal people!

We in the Kingdom Missions Outreach International (KMO-INTER) feel very proud to be vessels used by God Almighty in serving the Badjao tribal people here in Dumaguete City, Philippines.

May 23, 2013, was a day not to be forgotten so quickly by some of the Badjao tribal people here in Dumaguete city. It was a day God used us, the Nigerian missionary family, Success and Ngozi Uchime, to reach out in love to these marginalized and often times stigmatized Badjao tribal people. Though with a very meager resources, we were able to share what the good Lord provided for that mission outreach.

This mission effort, is scheduled for every Thursday at the front of Bethel Guest House, Boulevard, Dumaguete City, Philippines. Please join us if you're around Dumaguete City or Negros Oriental, or better still pray along with us and if the Lord lays anything in your heart while praying, please don't hesitate to contact us through this website.

We in KMO-INTER believe strongly that our Lord Jesus Christ also  died for these Badjao people, and as such we must continue in our efforts to reach out to them with the message of reconciliation - reconciling them with their maker - Jesus Christ!

It's very clear, we can't do this all alone, we therefor solicit you partnership with us, either as a monthly donor or  one-time donor. Thanks so much for identifying with us, and for more inquiries, visit our "Contact us" or "Give your donation," pages.

OUR DAUGHTER?S FUNERAL!

Posted by kmointer on May 8, 2013 at 2:00 AM Comments comments (0)

OUR DAUGHTER’S FUNERAL!

We reported to you last time of the devastating and shocking passing on to glory of our first daughter Nkeoma Gloria Uchime, a third year Mass Communication student, in Negros Oriental State University, here in Dumaguete City, Philippines.

Yes, we also want to report to you that she has been buried here in Bagacay Cemetery, Dumaguete City, on Monday, April 29, to the glory of God. It has been very agonizing to us, but we’re coming to terms with her absence from this body. It’s more agonizing when we reflect on the fact of burying our own here in a foreign land - on the mission field!

(Nkeoma's funeral poster)

Anyway, we’ve started to cope with her absence, and have started also to accept it as a reality, though it’s not so easy to overcome. But we thank in ALL things, hence we’ve this assurance and are encouraged by the fact that our daughter NK is in safe hands with our Lord Jesus Christ. More so we shall meet her some day!

Her passing on has given us the confident that we’re not alone here, as so many people have and are still rallying around us. So many people have either called on phone, texted, sent emails and even given to support us.

(Nkeoma laying in state  at the funeral home)

We still need prayers and God’s grace as we go through this process of mourning. Pray, especially that affliction will not come to us here the second time (Nahum 1: 9).

(Kanayo & Ngozi bidding Nkeoma farewell)

(Funeral service at the cemetery)

DEATH OF OUR DAUGHTER!

THE SUDDEN PASSING ON TO GLORY OF OUR DAUGHTER!

It’s with a heavy heart and deep shock that we’re reporting to you of the sudden passing on to glory of our first daughter Nkeoma Gloria Uchime just on Thursday April 25. It’s very hard for us to believe it’s true, but it’s!

She was 19 and in fact celebrated her birthday on February 12, and was going forher final years, Mass Communication, in the University here in the Philippines.

(Our late daughter Nkeoma marking her 19th birthday!)

Her death has really devastated us, but we’re not discouraged, knowing very well that our Lord God is in control of every situation in our lives. Though we must live to miss her as parents, but we’re convinced that she’s in good hands with the Lord.

We really need your prayers at this trying time. She’ll be buried here in the Philippines on Monday 22, 2013, and your prayers are needed for all the necessary grace we need most at this time.

Our Nigeria local Naira accounts in Nigeria are still open to enable you be a blessing to us in case the Lord’s laying anything in your heart as you pray along with us.

OUR MARCH MISSION REPORT!

Posted by kmointer on March 30, 2013 at 9:30 AM Comments comments (0)

OUR MARCH MISSION REPORT!

Wishing you the best this season of Easter celebration and it’s our prayer that the power that resurrected Jesus from the grave will continue to work miracles in your life in Jesus name!

We always rejoice whenever we remember God’s faithfulness in our lives here in the Philippines, and more so, when we remember that you’re always there for us. We praise the Lord for your life!

(Kanayo & Ngozi ministering to the Badjao tribal people
in Dumaguete City)

We want to report to you that our two daughters in the university did pretty well this concluding final semester. Our first daughter Nkeoma will be moving to her final year Mass Communication next semester by June, while Miracle the second one, will also be moving to her third year Info Tech (IT). Victory and Marvelous will be moving to their next classes in elementary grades. Your immense support has enabled us achieve this, and we give all glory to God!

We also wish to let you know, that we’ll be starting our regular schedule -  Summer Bible Studies for kids. We had it last summer and it was very rewarding. This time we intend to extend it to our Badjao kids, and we’ve made contacts with some of them, of which they’re willing to participate. Our commencement time by God’s grace is this May. This is to allow for more time for planning and the budget to be available. We believe and trust that the exercise will afford us the opportunity to minister to a lot of our Badjao people here in Dumaguete city.

Our usual challenge is getting them together regularly, but we trust the Lord that He’ll go ahead of us. We’ve already located about three possible centers for this project, and all we’re trusting God now is enough budget. We’re looking at a budget of almost eight hundred Dollars ($800). This will take care of all the resource materials, transportation, feeding for the kids, allowances for our missionary assistants etc. So, please, as usual help us in prayer.

(Ngozi serving the kids during our 2012 Summer Bible Studies)

Our Nigeria local Naira accounts are still open to enable you be a blessing to us in case the Lord’s laying anything in your heart as you pray along with us.

OUR FEBRUARY MISSION REPORT!

We rejoice each time we remember you and your dedication to God’s service. It’s our prayer that the good Lord who has called you into His marvelous Kingdom, will continue to make all grace available to you, to enable you fulfill your vision in life.

We bless God for the month of February, for all the mission challenges He helped us overcome and we do hope that we all shall march into greater heights in this new month of March!

(Kanayo & Ngozi looking forward to the weekend event!)

Praise God for our mission truck we reported to you the last time. It’s now fixed and running. The Lord again provided for its fixing! It has been very useful to us for our various outreaches to our Badjao tribal people and others. We’re looking forward to using it effectively this weekend during our crusade on March 2 and Kanayo’s birthday on March 3, for the movement of people and equipment.

The crusade is part of Kanayo’s 55th birthday celebration which is on Sunday March 3. We’re partnering with a local church here in Dumaguete city and we look forward to a great time of harvest of souls.

Please as usual help us commit this great weekend event and all our future mission activities to Jehovah in prayer, and also help us share our work with other mission minded brethren within your sphere of influence. That may make a tremendous difference in our mobilization efforts.
